Kin Album
Delete your account
You can delete your Kin Album account at any time. You don’t need the app to do it.
In the app
- iPhone: open Kin Album. Go to Settings. Tap Delete my account.
- Android: open Kin Album. Tap Settings. In the album, it’s in the menu (⋮). Then tap Delete my account.
- A computer: sign in at kinalbum.com and open Settings. Or use this page.
What happens
Your account closes 30 days after you ask. Until then, nothing is deleted, and you can change your mind. Sign in and tap Cancel account deletion.
What goes: your account and sign-in, your name and email address, and your comments and hearts. Albums only you are in are deleted, with everything in them.
What stays: photos and videos you posted to an album other people are in. They stay there for the family. They show as posted by a former member. You can delete any of them first.
If you started an album that other people are still in, your account can’t close yet. Remove everyone else first, or delete the album.
Do you pay for Kin Album through Apple? Deleting your account doesn’t stop that payment. Cancel it in your iPhone’s Settings too.
